WWE’s Website Traffic Spikes, Live Event Sales Down

– According to WWE’s latest monthly business figures, WWE’s website usage has spiked in the second quarter of this year.

Likely boosted by pay-per-view pre-shows and more emphasis on their website, WWE saw a three-year high in page views during the quarter (April through June) and a three-year high in the number of minutes spent on the website per visit.

– WWE’s domestic live event attendance was down slightly in second quarter 2012 compared to the previous second quarters in 2010 and 2011. Average attendance excluding WrestleMania was 5,400, down slightly from 5,600 excluding Mania in Q2-2011 and 5,800 in Q2-2010.
