RING OF HONOR is set to return to the Lone Star State! And this time, we are coming to San Antonio for 2 full nights of the best professional wrestling on the planet when ROH presents ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA II WEEKEND on Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th! ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA is an event renowned for world-class talent and incredible championship challenges. This year, all the fallout from ASE VII will spill over into a gigantic ROH TV taping on Saturday night!
Ever since they started teaming up, Matt Sydal and ACH have thrilled fans with their incredible athleticism and compatibility. But ACH has decided that what he needs to prove his OWN potential is to defeat the man who has taught him so much in the past year – MATT SYDAL! Because although ACH has learned so much and grown tremendously through this partnership, he truly believes the only way to learn even more is to beat Sydal himself.
Nigel McGuinness signed a Best of 5 Challenge Series that commenced last Friday night in Dearborn. Prior to that match, all we knew is that there would need to be at least 3 matches, with the 3rd match confirmed for ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA on pay per view.
The crowd in Dearborn was absolutely floored by the battle between these two partners – but it was Matt Sydal who pulled out the victory! However, the very next night in Chicago, these two competitors once again took each other to the limit! That night, it would be ACH who came out on top. What does this mean for the Best of 5 Series? Now that it’s tied at 1-1, there MUST be a 4th match!
The night after ASE, ACH and Sydal will stand in opposite corners for the 4th – and very possibly final – time in the series. Depending on who wins on pay per view, match 4 could decide the entire series! Be there in San Antonio this Saturday for this match and all your favorite ROH stars filming a huge night of Ring of Honor TV!
