Prior to signing with WWE in 2016, Shinsuke Nakamura established himself as one of the icons of the Japanese pro-wrestling circuit. Nakamura, a former IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion, recently ran into another superstar who also shares the same accolades in the form of Bullet Club leader Jay White.
The man who was once known as ‘The King of Strong Style’ recently took to his official Instagram handle in order to share a picture of himself along with the ‘Switchblade’. Nakamura also had a very interesting caption to the photo, which you can check below:

If you look at it, both Nakamura and White have had somewhat similar career paths. The two men started under New Japan Pro Wrestling at a very early age and during Nakamura’s peak in NJPW, White served as a young lion before he went on a foreign excursion.
Since making his return to NJPW in 2017, White aligned himself with CHAOS, a faction that was once led by Nakamura himself, however, White eventually turned his back on Kazuchika Okada and joined the Bullet Club within the span of a year.
Nevertheless, there is no surprise to the fact that Nakamura has heavily influenced White throughout his career and in 2020, fans definitely need to watch out for the ‘Switchblade’ Jay White.
