Brandi Rhodes deactivated her Twitter account recently. This was certainly unexpected of AEW’s chief brand officer. However, it seems there was a good reason for this.
Several fans assumed Brandi deleted her Twitter due to the backlash she received from the controversy surrounding AEW Heels. It seems that was not the real reason.
Cody Rhodes took to Twitter and posted a tweet which has since been deleted. He responded to those who said his wife deleting her account was unacceptable considering her position. He revealed that she received a flurry of racial messages.
Leaving a social app because you open your phone to an absurd amount of n bombs is respectfully understandable. No place for that.
We hope Brandi Rhodes will not have to face such racism and toxicity in the future.
