Eric Bischoff thinks live crowds will give less energy compared to ThunderDome

Following WWE’s departure from the Performance Center, the Amway Center and their ThunderDome has been a staple since then. The company plans on leaving the Amway Center after October so that they could have actual live crowds in attendance.

On 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff talked about WWE’s moving away from the ThunderDome. He is worried that live fans will not be able to give the same level of energy as they can with the ThunderDome.

“I’m going to go out on a limb and make a prediction. If WWE shoots outdoors and they are able to put enough people into whatever venue they are looking at so that you feel that energy, then I think it’s a good alternative. My fear is that if they have to social distance, keep everybody apart, everybody has to wear a mask and all the other things that could happen, I think the outdoor venue may provide less energy than the ThunderDome.”

Perhaps WWE will not have to worry much regarding masks for the live crowd, should they shift to Florida. Owing to the phase three reopening plan by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, no fines will be incurred if one does not wear a mask.
