During a recent edition of The Wrestling Show podcast on The Dirty Sheets, noted professional wrestling insider Billi Bhatti told the host of the show that the there will be more matches for WrestleMania 37 announced, one of them being multi-man match for the WWE Smackdown tag team titles. Bhatti made the following remarks about Smackdown tapings, set for this week to air next week. Vince McMahon ‘rejected’ this top star on Smackdown in a creative meeting.
Bhatti: I actually got told a couple of days ago, I was actually trying to find out if any of these matches are gonna go on a pre-show. So, they are gonna lop-side it for Sunday – eight and seven. They are gonna add a multi-women match for the Women’s tag titles and a men’s multi-match for the Smackdown tag titles. However, they are gonna lop-side it so there is one less match on Saturday in comparison to Sunday. One match will go on the pre-show on Sunday because there won’t be one on Saturday.
Bhatti: The reason for this is because they don’t want to see any reaction to the crowds or anything until the actual show starts. They are gonna make you go to Peacock to see people come out. No one is going to come out and get any kind of reaction, no dark match or anything like that. The first person out will be either Bianca Belair or Drew McIntyre.
