WWE Hall of Famer Has ‘Dementia’ After Concussions

WWE Hall Of Famer Paul Orndorff’s health has deteriorated drastically recently. His son Travis confirmed on social media that his father has dementia and he is urging fans to share a video he posted about his father. He wants to spread awareness about the effects of CTE.

 


 

Troy opens up about CTE

It is noted that CTE cannot be diagnosed but Travis believes that his father’s condition is currently as this stage because of the bumps he took during his wrestling career. Brock Lesnar ‘Demand’ For WWE Return Leaks

Travis shared a video of his father on Instagram and captioned:

“This is real! Keep him in your prayers. Please share this video. CTE is real. This is the reality for many of our childhood heroes. Thank you for the amazing support and messages. They will get shared with my father on my next visit.”

His another post saw Travis revealing that the recent video he captured was the first time he has seen his father in a year due to the restrictions of COVID-19.

He said:

“After getting vaccinated, got to see my dad for the first time in a year. Still did not remember me but he’s not in bad spirits. Don’t kid yourself…concussion syndrome is real!!!! Haircut and shave coming next week.”

Previously back in 2016, the WWE Hall Of Famer was part of a class action lawsuit against WWE. It was alleged that wreslters suffered “long term neurological injuries” and that WWE “routinely failed to care” for and they “fraudelently misrepresented and concealed” the nature of the injuries.

The lawsuit was dismissed in 2018 by US District Judge Vanessa Lynne Bryant. The judge stated that the case was dismissed because some of the claims listed were frivolous and other claims were filed after the statute of limitations expired.
