A video has come out that has fans around the world talking about Oscar De La Hoya. Now, is the hate warranted? Mike Tyson Reveals ‘Racist’ Canelo Alvarez Fight Claim.
The Twitter post showcasing Oscar De La Hoya doing some hand and foot work stated the following: “The Golden Boy still got it.” While the page that posted this, DAZN Boxing, thought extremely highly of Oscar De La Hoya, many fans of boxing thought differently. In fact, the comment section was full of nothing but shade for the most part.
Some of the comments said the following as it pertained to the video: “Got what?,” “He literally looks like he may be fresh off doing a line. Stop it,” “Those shaky legs tho!,” “Is he meant to be hitting it or dodging a speed bag? Probably face Cheeseman on a Matchroom card still tbf.”
As of right now, there have been no words from De La Hoya or the page that had posted the video. I’m not sure if there will be any words back at the boxing fans as I’m sure anyone still talking about De La Hoya helps him out at this point as he has done a decent job at making himself out to be a jerk much anymore.
Triller Fight Club has also officially announced that Oscar De La Hoya’s comeback is no longer an exhibition and has now become an actual sanctioned fight.
De La Hoya, a former six division world champion, will return to the ring against MMA legend Vitor Belfort on September 11. The fight has been set for the eight round distance at light heavyweight.
