Alexa Bliss has said she ‘loves’ her fans, as she has been on another mysterious hiatus after returning at WWE Elimination Chamber. Bliss will reportedly, and sadly, not be at WrestleMania 38.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is quite aware of the fame of The Undertaker, who is one of Vince’s valuable assets. ‘The Deadman’ has entertained fans for over three decades. Vince was so sure about retaining The Undertaker despite him retiring. Vince went on to offer a long-term deal to ‘The Phenom’ for a tenure of 15 years.
Vince McMahon prevents Undertaker from making appearances outside of WWE
The Undertaker had announced his retirement on the show The Last Ride after his match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. Though the former WWE Champion dropped hints about retirement on multiple occasions, it came only after his remarkable cinematic match against ‘The Phenomenal One’ that he finally hung up his boots.
As per the reports of Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, McMahon had expressed his displeasure when The Undertaker started booking himself for appearances outside WWE after his contract had ended. Hence, he offered Taker a contract for 15-years:
”He (The Undertaker) was considered so valuable that when his contract expired a few years ago an,d he started booking his own dates, including a date for a Starrcast convention in conjunction with an AEW PPV show, McMahon immediately made him an offer for an unprecedented 15-year contract even though he was never going to wrestle again,” said Meltzer.
The Undertaker has now been announced as the headliner for the 2022 Hall of Fame. Vince is set to do the honors for the WWE Legend. The 2022 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Friday, April 1 from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. The event will air live on Peacock and the WWE Network, after the WrestleMania 38 go-home edition of SmackDown goes off the air that night.
