AEW Star Drops Major Triple H Bombshell

Triple H is currently the COO of WWE and he is also a veteran in the world of professional wrestling, having competed in several great matches and countless memorable moments during his time as an active in-ring competitor in the company. Triple H’s offer to buy a pro wrestling company was also previously revealed.

Back in 2018 Triple H was still in charge of NXT and developing the brand in a way that fit his vision of what a pro wrestling brand should be like. For a very long time, Triple H’s vision bore fruit as NXT put on incredible matches and events for several years, often outclassing anything put out by the main roster in WWE.
Billy Gunn recently spoke with Wrestling Inc, where he was asked if Triple H would ever join AEW. Gunn immediately said no as an answer.
“I’m going to say no to that. I’m going to say no to that, and leave it there.”
In other news, the Undertaker is truly in the world of professional wrestling as he gave more than thirty years of his life to the business. He ended his career at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view back in 2020, bringing an end to his legacy.

In other news regarding Triple H, the new AEW signing – Swerve Strickland would discuss ‘The Game’ an interview with the Getting Over Wrestling Podcast, and how Triple H missed opportunities with ‘core’ NXT talent. Credit to Wrestling Inc for the below.

“I feel like he liked me and he respects my talent and my ability. But I don’t feel like he ever truly bought in and invested until I made him have to with Hit Row,” Strickland said. “He’s one of those guys like, he has those talents on the show that he knows and he’s well-acquainted with and it’s hard for him to deviate from those guys. When he’s set on someone, he’s set on them. Anybody who says that he doesn’t, like, I wouldn’t call it picking favorites, but if somebody says he doesn’t have his core guys, you’re one of the core guys. Do you know what I mean?

He would continue:

“They’re like ‘what do you mean, he’s great. I’m like ‘no sh-t.’ But there’s a lot of like, to this day I feel like he missed out on Matt Riddle being a world champion because he was focused on core guys. I feel like there were times he missed out on Bianca Belair because he was focused on his core girls. You know, there’s a lot of missed opportunities with certain areas because he was so focused on certain people and you kind of have to because he’s running a product that, on a weekly product, you kind of want to go to your go-getters. You know, your guaranteed guys.”
