The former WWE star Ryback never fails to draw attention with his antics on social media. He has once again taken a jab. This time around he took a shot at AEW World Champion CM Punk, who has been Ryback’s one of the biggest rivals during their time in WWE. Punk had blasted the Big Guy on that Colt Cabana podcast for taking “years” off his career, but now Punk is injured and Ryback had nothing to do with it.
Ryback takes a shot at CM Punk
CM Punk announced on this week’s AEW Rampage that he suffered an injury and will need to take some time off. He had a grueling encounter with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and defeated him to win the World title in the headlining bout of AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
The former WWE Intercontinental Champion took note of Punk’s injury and dropped a two-worded bombshell that enraged CM Punk fans. Ryback’s WWE slogan was “Ryback Rules,” so he tweaked it a bit for this instance. He took to his Twitter account and simply wrote:
“Karma rules”

Fans have been concerned about Punk after he made the heartbreaking announcement of his hiatus. On this week’s Friday night show, ‘The Second City Saint’ started his promo by saying that he had good and bad news. CM Punk stated that he’s injured and needs surgery. He added that “the wheels haven’t fallen off, but one of them is broken.”
He did not relinquish the title but it was later announced that there will be a battle royal on next week’s Dynamite, and the winner will face the Number 1 contender Jon Moxley. The winner of that bout will compete in the interim AEW World Championship match at Forbidden Door to be crowned the new champion.
