WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was removed from WWE’s intro after the controversial “Plane Ride From Hell” episode was aired. As it seems that WWE has given Flair his spot back, at least in their “Then, Now, Together, Forever” intro. Tonight’s Raw intro contained Ric Flair iconic “Wooooo!” That hadn’t been heard for quite some time.
Ric Flair thanked WWE
Flair took to Twitter and thanked the sports and entertainment juggernaut for giving him back his dignity and life. The multi-time world champion prefaced the statement by saying that losing his spot with WWE was the most hurtful moment in his career.

Flair is currently in search of an opponent for his last match which is set to take place on July 31. The former WWE star Lana (now CJ Perry) has stepped up to the challenge. Sean Ross Sapp reported that Flair doesn’t care if his opponent is a big name. He stated that The Nature Boy just wants someone who can do a good job in the ring.
‘The Nature Boy’ competed in his last official match in September 2011 for TNA (IMPACT). Flair retired from active in-ring competition several years ago due to poor health. The 16-time world champion has had multiple surgical procedures performed on him over the years. Ric Flair will wrestle one last match the day after WWE SummerSlam. The bout will take place after the Starrcast fan convention at the Nashville Fairgrounds. The date is set for July 31, 2022.
