Vince McMahon was the CEO of WWE before he had to step down following allegations of sexual misconduct and allegedly having paid $12 million in hush money in a huge scandal. He eventually retired from WWE for good and was replaced by his daughter Stephanie McMahon as the CEO of WWE. His son-in-law Triple H is now the Executive Vice President of Talent and Relations as well. Vince McMahon also lied about quitting WWE recently
Brett Lauderdale, owner of Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) provide a confirmation that the GCW live shows and back catalog will be available on FITE+ on November 1, 2022. Lauderdale also discussed WWE’s offer to bring it over to their home network, Peacock, and if Stephanie McMahon would be mad about his announcement. Brett discussed this news with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
“Of course. I think that she’s very frustrated. She made a very substantial and healthy offer to us to bring us to Peacock.”
When Sean Ross Sapp asked about how the deal with FITE+ came through, Lauderdale did not provide any details. He did, however, mention being invited to WrestleMania by WWE in order to lock in the deal.
