Superstar Billy Graham, a WWE Hall of Famer and iconic figure, has unfortunately been facing severe health problems in recent times. Despite inspiring a generation of performers, Graham’s health has been deteriorating over the past couple of decades, leading to extended hospital stays.
To address his various health issues, Graham’s doctors have been working to find a way to improve his condition. Recently, Graham underwent an MRI to diagnose his ear infection, which has now spread to his skull. Unfortunately, there is no update on his diagnosis as of yet.
Although Graham battled COVID-19 in 2023, his ear infection has been his longest-standing ailment. In January, he was hospitalized due to this infection, which ultimately led to a cardiac arrest. His wife Valerie posted a recent update on Facebook, revealing that Graham is now entirely deaf.
To cope with the mounting medical expenses, a GoFundMe page has been created to support Billy Graham, and Valerie shared that he has reached the cap of his Medicare co-pay. As a result, she has had to cover some of the costs out of her own pocket. The GoFundMe page has raised more than $10,000 towards a goal of $25,000. Friends, Wayne (Billy) has had a very rough run lately. He coded, but God decided that it was not his time to go, and brought him back to us! He is going on over three weeks in the Mayo hospital ICU, checked into a rehab center, and is now back at the Mayo. He is dealing with a myriad of very serious health issues: a major infection in his ears and skull that may take six months of intravenous IVs, congestive heart failure, diabetes, hearing loss as a result of the infection, and the list goes on. He is facing a long period of rehab, and his insurance will only pay a portion of this. He is facing at least two months in a skilled nursing facility, once he is stabilized and released from the Mayo hospital. Wayne has lost 45 pounds in the last three weeks.
Wayne’s wife Valerie is doing the best she can to work full time, while also doing all she can for her husband. They are facing mounting long term medical related bills. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
