The sporting world mourned the loss of the iconic Cleveland Browns running back, Jim Brown, who has passed away at the remarkable age of 87. Renowned for his exceptional skills on the field, Brown led the Browns to an NFL championship in 1964.

However, at the height of his career after the 1965 season, he made a bold decision to transition into a new realm as an actor.

In an emotional response to the tragic news, Cleveland’s own Stipe Miocic took to social media to express his deep sorrow and pay tribute to Jim Brown. The former champ’s heartfelt message referred to Brown as a true “sports legend,” emphasizing the profound impact Brown had on the world of athletics:

“A hero, a sports legend, and more importantly one of the best human beings I’ve ever known. You did so much for this city and the sport. May you rest in peace my friend.”

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated next fight of Jon Jones could potentially mark the final appearance of the former UFC light-heavyweight kingpin inside the octagon. Jones had scored a convincing victory in his most recent bout, where he secured a first-round submission win over Ciyrl Gane.

Following his impressive performance, ‘Bones’ boldly called out former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, sparking speculation about his future in the sport. UFC president Dana White further added fuel to the fire by hinting at the possibility of Jones retiring after his upcoming showdown against Miocic.
