Trump Attacks ‘Thugs’ With Christians In Video

In a fiery and defiant speech, former President Donald Trump took center stage once again, passionately proclaiming his innocence and decrying what he perceives as a relentless campaign of political persecution. Addressing the Faith & Freedom Coalition, Trump seized the opportunity to vent his frustrations, launching into a scathing critique of his recent indictment on numerous federal criminal counts related to the mishandling of classified documents.

With fervor and conviction, Trump bemoaned the perceived injustices he has faced, describing the charges against him as yet another manifestation of the political machinations orchestrated by the left. In his address, he denounced the supposed weaponization of the Justice Department, accusing Democrats, Marxists, communists, and fascists of orchestrating what he considers to be an elaborate scheme designed to tarnish his reputation and undermine his presidency.

Defiantly wearing his indictment as a badge of honor, Trump sought solace and validation from his ardent supporters. Declaring that he was being indicted on their behalf, he harnessed their applause as a testament to the unwavering loyalty of the more than 200 million Americans whom he claims love their country as much as he does. To Trump, the indictment represents yet another chapter in what he dubs the “greatest witch hunt of all times,” perpetuated by his political adversaries.

In classic Trump fashion, the former president then pivoted to the topic of the 2020 election, continuing to peddle his unfounded claims of electoral fraud. Undeterred by the lack of substantial evidence to support his assertions, he decried the supposed rigging of the election while simultaneously disparaging the prosecutors who have charged him under the Espionage Act. Trump dismissed their actions as “disgraceful,” positioning himself as a victim of a double standard in which he alone is targeted for alleged mishandling of sensitive information.

Attempting to draw false equivalences, Trump contrasted his ownership of the documents in question with the supposed lack of authority possessed by President Joe Biden and Vice President Mike Pence. According to Trump’s narrative, the documents rightfully belonged to him under the Presidential Records Act, while insinuating that others were not subject to the same scrutiny. With an air of indignation, he accused his detractors of selectively targeting him while allowing previous presidents to retain their documents without consequence.

I had every right to have these documents, personal belongings in boxes. Joe Biden didn’t. Even Mike Pence didn’t have that right. They weren’t covered by the Presidential Records Act. I was because I was president, but they weren’t. But these scoundrels and thugs, they only come after me. they didn’t go after the many, many other presidents that kept their documents.
