Chris Christie Threatens To Assault Trump In Video

In a surprising turn of events, Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey and a contender for the Republican presidential nomination, has made bold claims about his physical prowess in a hypothetical bout against former President Donald Trump. During an interview with Piers Morgan, Christie was posed an unusual question about who would emerge victorious if he and Trump were to engage in a physical fight.

Without hesitation, Christie confidently asserted that he would emerge triumphant, stating, “Come on, the guy is 78-years-old. I’d kick his ass.” Morgan, taken aback by the response, chuckled at the bold declaration made by Christie.

Undeterred by the unconventional nature of the question, Morgan then inquired if Christie would be willing to participate in an undercard event, where he would face off against Trump. Christie responded with unwavering determination, expressing his readiness to confront Trump in any venue, be it a debate stage or even inside the octagon of a UFC fight.

This boastful claim of physical superiority comes amidst an increasingly heated and deeply personal war of words between the two Republican candidates. Christie has emerged as one of the most vocal critics of Trump within the GOP field, publicly voicing his concerns about the former president’s legal challenges and accusing him of cowardice for allegedly planning to avoid participating in the planned Republican primary debates.

In response, Trump has resorted to mocking Christie’s weight, taking jabs at his physical appearance. Trump took to Truth Social, his preferred social media platform, and wrote, “How many times did Chris Christie use the word SMALL? Does he have a psychological problem with SIZE? Actually, his speech was SMALL, and not very good.” Furthermore, Trump shared an edited video of Christie speaking at a buffet during his campaign launch, attempting to further disparage him.

Nevertheless, Christie has chosen to dismiss these criticisms and has urged his former ally to reflect on his own actions. In an interview with Stephen A. Smith, Christie acknowledged the struggles faced by millions of Americans, including himself, in dealing with weight-related issues. He highlighted his own efforts to address this challenge, including undergoing surgery and successfully losing a significant amount of weight during his tenure as governor. While acknowledging that he still has more progress to make, Christie condemned Trump’s behavior as childish and emphasized the need for empathy and understanding.
