Randy Orton Blocked From Returning To WWE?

Fans of WWE and Randy Orton will have to exercise their patience a little longer as the former WWE Champion’s return to television is currently not on the horizon. Orton’s absence from the wrestling scene has been evident since last May, when he had to undergo fusion back surgery late last year, leaving many wondering if he would be able to make a comeback.

Bob Orton, Randy’s father, has previously hinted at his son’s ongoing training efforts, but it seems that medical advice has been cautious about allowing him to step back into the ring. Despite Orton’s ongoing healing process, the extent of his recovery has not reached a point where he can be cleared to return to action, according to a report by Fightful Select.

Moreover, it appears that the WWE creative team has not included Orton in any of their current plans. The absence of extensive conversations about his potential return suggests that the company has yet to decide on a storyline or role for him when he does come back.

Before making his long-awaited return in front of the WWE universe, Orton will need to focus on resuming his in-ring training. Nonetheless, it’s reassuring to hear that he has been putting in the effort in the gym, as sources report that he has been lifting weights and his physique is described as “huge.”

However, despite these positive signs, it’s important for fans not to get their hopes up for an immediate comeback, especially with the looming event of SummerSlam. Sources close to WWE creative have indicated that Orton’s return has not been factored into any of the plans discussed so far.

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of Orton’s potential return is the level of secrecy surrounding it. If he does have a return in the works, the company has managed to keep it tightly under wraps, even from its own employees.
