As Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck settle into their new home together, their focus has been on ensuring a smooth and comfortable transition for their children. Lopez has 15-year-old twins, Max and Emme, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony, while Affleck has three children — Violet, 17; Seraphina, 14; and Samuel, 11 — from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner.
According to ET, the couple is working on blending their families in a healthy and gentle manner, making sure that everyone feels at ease during this process. Their priority is to create an environment where their kids can enjoy a fun summer together.
“They know that everyone has been getting used to the new adjustments and they want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible during the process,” the source tells ET. “They are working on meshing their families in a healthy and gentle way, while also making sure everyone has a fun summer.”
Recently, Lopez and Affleck celebrated the one-year anniversary of their spontaneous Las Vegas wedding. The multi-talented star commemorated the occasion by teasing a snippet of her upcoming track, “Midnight Trip to Vegas,” on her Instagram broadcast channel. The song’s lyrics were also revealed in her On the JLO newsletter.
After their initial Las Vegas ceremony, the couple tied the knot again in a more elaborate celebration at Affleck’s Georgia estate, surrounded by loved ones.
Meanwhile, Lopez is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated ninth studio album, which will be her first since 2014. The album, titled “This Is Me… Now,” is a follow-up to her 2002 record “This Is Me… Then.”
As they embark on this new chapter together, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are not only focused on their own relationship but also on ensuring the happiness and comfort of their children as they build a blended family.
