The star couple of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been a controversial pairing having ups and downs in their relationship. The duo kept on running into each other years later and fell in love when the former was married to Sheree Zampino with whom he shares Trey. They eventually tied the knot in 1997 and share two kids, Willow, and Jaden Smith.
They continued to have each other’s backs and have an undying love for their children. This is the only fact that the latter can’t compromise in any situation and revealed in 2013 that she could abandon her husband if he affected her kids.
“If he did something bad to the kids — now we’ve got a problem.”
Their kids have been their utmost priority which she strongly feels should never be affected in any given condition. But, the duo has strong feelings for their family.
While the actress was clear with what she don’t want her husband to ever do, Smith has nothing but undying support for her. In an appearance on TIDAL’s Rap Radar podcast,
he mentioned having a unique approach to his marriage with the former.
“We don’t even say we’re married anymore. We refer to ourselves as life partners,”
he said. “
Where you get into a space where you realize you are literally with somebody for the rest of your life. There’s no deal breakers.”
The King Richard actor continued, “There’s nothing she could do — ever. Nothing that would break our relationship. She has my support till death, you know what I mean and it feels so good to get to that space where you’re not complaining, and worry, and demanding that a person be a certain thing.”
