According to Mediate, former President Donald Trump’s ongoing contentious relationship with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has once again taken center stage, with Trump unleashing a barrage of criticism on social media, culminating in an accusatory blame game involving a perceived surge in violent crime.
Trump’s criticism is anchored in his fervent desire to impeach Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, whom he characterizes as “crooked, incompetent, & highly partisan.” Although Willis had previously exhibited partisan inclinations during her campaign, there exists no substantial evidence to support Trump’s allegations of corruption or misconduct.
In his social media tirade, Trump squarely pointed the finger at Governor Kemp, attributing the alleged surge in violent crime to Kemp’s resistance against Willis’ impeachment. Trump’s claim suggests that the actions of both Kemp and Willis have ostensibly contributed to a rise in violent crime rates, particularly in Atlanta, which he contends holds the unfortunate distinction of having the highest crime rate in the nation.
Trump’s post on social media scathingly insinuates that Willis should be impeached for an array of reasons, citing not only her purportedly partisan pursuits but also her purported focus on investigating Trump’s actions, rather than addressing the issue of escalating violent crime in the area.
It is worth noting, however, that recent data from a WalletHub report ranks Atlanta as the 11th city in the nation for violent crime, and its murder rates have shown a marked increase over recent years. While Atlanta’s crime situation is far from ideal, it is noteworthy that similar challenges are not unique to the city and have been observed in urban areas across both red and blue states.
Governor Kemp of Georgia is fighting hard against the Impeachment of the crooked, incompetent, & highly partisan D.A. of Fulton County, Fani Willis, who has allowed Murder and other Violent Crime to MASSIVELY ESCALATE. Crime in Atlanta is WORST IN NATION. She should be impeached for many reasons, not just the Witch Hunt (I did nothing wrong!). Willis should focus on out of control Murder, not “I will get TRUMP” over a Perfect Phone Call. Georgia does not deserve this GIANT MURDER WAVE!
