Bray Wyatt passed away at the age of 36. It has come to light that the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins broke down in tears during a WWE live event in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
A video clip emerged where Rollins spoke about how he would always think about Rotunda because of the “lights [from the cellphones] in the crowd,” during his entrance. He shared that he always thought of him and “the fireflies” in the crowd, even before Rotunda’s passing on Thursday. Rollins ended his promo by thanking the crowd and telling them to “Follow The Buzzards.”

Also, Rollins performed some of Rotunda’s signature moves such as the spider walk and the mandible claw during his WWE World Heavyweight Title Street Fight match against Judgment Day leader Finn Balor. Rollins will next be defending the title on Saturday, September 2, at the WWE Premium Live Event, Payback. His opponent will be Shinsuke Nakamura.
Wyatt’s sudden passing has shocked the entire pro wrestling world with tributes pouring in for the beloved Superstar. The news of Wyatt’s passing away was earlier shared by Triple H on Twitter after he got a call from Rotunda’s father, Mike Rotunda (IRS in WWE). Wyatt had been dealing with health issues earlier this year. He was expected to compete at WrestleMania 39 in April against Bobby Lashley. However, the plan was scrapped due to “physical issues.”
Reports stated that he was cleared for return but that WWE was being careful about his health. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp also shared on Twitter that Rotunda had COVID earlier this year, which exacerbated a heart issue.
