Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith talked about her affair with her son Jaden’s friend and rapper August Alsina with her husband Will Smith on her talk show. The couple have been together for a long time but their marriage is considered as one of the most controversial ones.
The episode of that show was so heated that it sparked debates and arguments on the regular and still does to this day, but according to the host, she feels like this wasn’t the hardest topic she talked about. She believes that this conversation was nothing compared to the one where she was talking about a sensitive subject with her mother and her daughter.
The most popular, as well as the most controversial episode of her talk show Red Table Talk, was when Jada Pinkett Smith sat down with her husband Will Smith to talk about her fling with August Alsina. She also had a conversation with her daughter Willow Smith on the topic of p*rnography while her mother was sitting there beside her listening and also giving her input on the matter.
In a conversation with Jimmy Kimmel on his show, the Queen Cleopatra star opened up about this episode after the host asked her about it, also questioning whether her husband was also uncomfortable watching it.
She opened up about it, saying that it was probably one of the hardest topics she had to hear about, especially when it came from her daughter’s mouth. She accepted that it was way too much sensitive information to process, saying:
“That particular show was a TMI moment. I must say I learned a little bit too much about my mother and surely about my daughter, I never thought that I personally would have a TMI moment at the red table, and that was the show. I can’t believe kids are exposed to this on a regular basis, I was profoundly disturbed.”
When placed in that kind of situation, especially when Pinkett Smith found Willow Smith watching a p*rno video back when she was still young, the reaction seemed to be precisely what people would expect.
