Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, “Congressman Jim Jordan has been a STAR long before making his very successful journey to Washington, D.C., representing Ohio’s 4th Congressional District. Respected by all, he is now Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. As President, I had the honor of presenting Jim with our Country’s highest civilian award, The Presidential Medal of Freedom. So much is learned from sports, and Jim was a master! While attending Graham High School, he won State Championships all four years, a rarity, and compiled an amazing 156-1 record.
At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jim became a two-time NCAA Division l Wrestling Champion. He won his 1985-86 NCAA Championship Matches in his weight class. Jim has a masters degree in Education from Ohio State University & a Law Degree from Capital University. He is STRONG on Crime, Borders, our Military/Vets, & 2nd Amendment. Jim, his wife, Polly, & family are outstanding – He will be a GREAT Speaker of the House, & has my Complete & Total Endorsement!”
It was previously reported that Donald Trump can be your next speaker of the House. Yes, you read that right. The word currently going around confirms that this may very well be true. The former President is in talks about holding the position for some time.
He would be there until a permanent person doesn’t take over the position. Notably, Kevin McCarthy was ousted from the speaker’s position, a couple of days ago.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) brought the motion to take away Kevin McCarthy from his position as the speaker of the house. The accusations stated that he didn’t fulfill the promises.
Matt said that he didn’t comply to what he said, and used to win the speakership at the start of the year. Eight Republicans voted alongside Democrats to remove Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) have placed bids to take over McCarthy’s position. Trump stated as the “unifier” that he would be willing to takeover the position if no one gets the required count.
They have asked me if I would take it for a short period of time for the party, until they come to a conclusion—I’m not doing it because I want to—I will do it if necessary, should they not be able to make their decision.
While there are talks about Trump being the speaker of the house, it looks like the former President has also expressed interest in supporting someone else for the position.
According to Mediaite, Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) shared the news on Thursday night that the former President Donald Trump will endorse Jim Jordan for the speaker’s position in the House.
Just had a great conversation with President Trump about the Speaker’s race.
He is endorsing Jim Jordan, and I believe Congress should listen to the leader of our party.
I fully support Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House.

This comes in light of the fact that Trump has criminal indictment in four jurisdictions. He is also the runaway frontrunner to win the Republican presidential nomination.
In case the same happens then Trump would have a lot to handle. Trump has expressed interest of holding the speaker’s position for a period of 30, 60 or 90 days.
It looks like his hammerlock position in the GOP would be enough to boost Jordan’s contendership for the position. Jordan has been an ally to Trump over the years and only time will tell if things go according to the plan.
