Michael Cole Removed From WWE Raw

Michael Cole missed WWE Raw as he had requested the date off. He is not ill, and will return next week. Kevin Patrick filled in.

It is noted that AEW President Tony Khan targeted WWE on Twitter while claiming that WWE fans are harassing him. In addition to accusing WWE of contract tampering, he mentioned that “WWE avatar accounts” directed negative comments towards his mother while she was recuperating from a life-threatening situation following a near-fatal stroke.

During Fightful’s backstage podcast behind their paywall, Sean Sapp explained a couple of occasions of contract tampering that Tony Khan was likely referring to in those tweets. TK also had a bit of a reason to be upset about things.

“I can tell you the two situations that Khan took it personally. One of which was Swerve Strickland, who signed a multi-year deal on pay-per-view, for a Hit Row reunion. He, I believe, referred WWE or WWE’s talent relations person to his lawyer.”

“Then there was the other instance, when Tony Khan’s mother was in the hospital, and while his mother was in the hospital it became abundantly clear that WWE had tampered and spoken to William Regal. They offered him a new role that they already had prepared, so that’s why he took it personal for those.”

Tony Khan will probably keep speaking his truths on social media, and you never know what he will say next. If anything, Tony Khan certainly gained a lot of engagement with those posts about WWE.
