Trump’s Lawyer Admits To Lying Under Oath

Donald Trump and his New York fraud trial doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. The trial that started after New York Attorney General Letitia James brought Trump’s mischievous activities into notice has gone into different directions.

Michael Cohen who was once with Donald Trump has testified against him in court. There are others who may have to be in the witness stand soon if all details come to light. Cohen was present inside the court on Wednesday and answered Trump’s attorney Alina Habba’s questions.

Christopher Kise, a Trump attorney called Cohen a liar. When objected to this by the NYAG’s team, Kise said “There’s nothing wrong with calling a liar a liar.” Cohen has been instrumental in this case and it needs to be seen how he responds in the coming days.

Will Donald Trump be charged or acquitted of the charges?

Donald Trump and his attorneys are doing everything in their power to downplay Cohen and his actions. Cohen admitted that he can’t state if Trump actually inflated or downgraded his assets. It comes in light of the current turn of events as Cohen said that he lied under oath in 2019.

He denied these words after the break, but the word was already out. Cohen’s not named as a defendant by Letitia James, and this was pointed out by Trump’s attorneys. It needs to be seen if this situation will have any impact on the judgement.

According to Forbes, Trump used his team for his personal advantage. He did everything in his power to get an extra value and stay in the business rankings released by Forbes. It’s interesting to see how a situation is turning out to be out of proportion for the former president. Donald Trump getting jailed or bailed is a question on everyone’s mind.

What do you think of this situation? Sound off in the comments.
