Trump-Ex Lawyer Reveals Disorder That’s Sending Him To Jail

Ty Cobb, who served as a lawyer in the former President Donald Trump administration, predicted an appeals court will uphold a limited gag order issued by Judge Tanya Chutkan in Trump’s criminal case in Washington, D.C via Media Ite.

Trump is being prosecuted for his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election, which he falsely claimed was rigged against him.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan has slapped a limited gag order on Trump in October after he slammed Special Counsel Jack Smith as a “thug” who is “deranged.” During a hearing on Monday, one lawyer for Trump was repeatedly scolded by an appeals judge.

On Monday’s OutFront on CNN, Cobb predicted the appeals court will keep the order in place and reiterated his belief that Trump will go to jail for violating it.

“I don’t think his first or second violation of the gag order will find him sent to jail,” he said. “But I think ultimately, you know, his narcissism will get the best of him, and he will violate it until he finds out what the limits of Judge Chutkan’s patience are.”

“And I guess those limits, as you’re saying, end up with what could possibly be a night or two, or something like that,” host Erin Burnett said. “It’s hard to even imagine it, but actually in jail.”

“I think that’s exactly right,” Cobb responded. “The judges were frustrated with both sides a little bit today, because of, you know, the vagaries of their interpretation of the order and the arguments they were making.”

In October, Cobb blindsided Burnett during a live hit by predicting Chutkan will eventually send Trump to the slammer.

“That’ll be an incredible thing,” the shocked host said at the time.
