Hulk Hogan Son Was With WWE Legend Before Arrest

Nick Hogan, son of WWE legend Hulk Hogan, recently made headlines for his arrest on DUI charges in Clearwater, Florida. Additional details surrounding the incident have emerged, revealing that Nick was participating in a bikini contest event at his father’s restaurant, Hogan’s Hangout, just before the arrest.

According to RadarOnline, Nick Hogan, 33, was actively involved in the event, serving as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) and DJ behind the booth. Footage obtained by TMZ shows him working the DJ booth, playing music, and announcing the winners of the bikini contest. Hulk Hogan himself participated as a judge in the competition.

The night took a turn when Hulk Hogan announced complimentary shots at the restaurant. It remains unclear whether Nick consumed any of the provided alcohol, but it is known that shortly after the event, he decided to drive.

Nick Hogan was subsequently pulled over and arrested for DUI after failing a field sobriety test. Clearwater police arrested him just after 1 AM on Saturday morning. According to the police report, alcohol was allegedly detected on his breath, and he performed poorly on the field sobriety test.

The report revealed that Nick Hogan was driving his 2021 Dodge Ram pickup truck at 51 MPH in a 40 MPH zone, passing three stationary patrol cars involved in a separate traffic incident. Despite an officer’s attempt to signal him to change lanes using a flashlight, the vehicle did not comply, failing to reduce its speed by 20 MPH below the posted limit.

The incident underscores the potential consequences of drinking and driving, even after participating in a public event. Nick Hogan’s arrest serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible decision-making, especially when it comes to alcohol consumption and operating a vehicle.
