CM Punk made his epic return at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames last night at Chicago’s Allstate Arena. Drew McIntyre and Judgment Day lost that big match against the team of returning Randy Orton, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes. Following the match, CM Punk returned to steal the spotlight in a big way.
He made his return to the company nearly a decade after his final appearance for the company in 2014. Punk’s last appearance for WWE came during the WWE Royal Rumble 2014, after which he left the company.
A picture has emerged in which Bayley was seen posing with CM Punk and AJ Lee. During RAW in Nashville, CM Punk delivered a promo expressing his happiness about returning “back home” to WWE. He also acknowledged the AJ Lee chants and assured the WWE Universe that she was doing well. He also said that AJ Lee sends her best.
CM Punk brought up his wife, AJ Lee, after fans started to chant for her during his promo. He said, “AJ is fabulous, and she sends her regards.” She may have been closer than some fans realized.
