Hulk Hogan Accused Of Scamming Fans At Autograph Signings

Hulk Hogan is considered a wrestling icon, and his name is closely tied to the history of professional wrestling. While he has faced criticism for certain aspects of his career, his overall brand value remains significant, contributing to his status as a household name.

During the 80s and 90s, Hogan was a dominant force in WWE, and his popularity extended to merchandise sales, including signed 8×10 pictures. However, a recent interview with fellow Hall of Famer Greg Valentine brought forth a surprising disclosure. Valentine claimed that he and The Honky Tonk Man personally sign their merchandise, but Hogan allegedly allowed Brutus Beefcake to forge his autographs.

Valentine’s statement suggests that autographs attributed to Hogan might not always be authentic and raises questions about the legitimacy of signed memorabilia associated with the wrestling legend. This revelation has added a new layer of discussion and intrigue to Hogan’s legacy in the wrestling community.

“I understand Beefcake used to have pictures of him and Hulk, and he’d sign Hulk’s name. At least Honky came over and actually gave me his autograph. Everybody’s autograph, you could tell [if] it’s a phony.”
