Joe Biden is not getting support from anyone after his recent order. The President went ahead and ordered for strike against numerous militant targets in Yemen on Thursday. In response to the Commander in Chief’s order the air strikes happened. Now, Joe Biden is facing backlash for his decision. Donald Trump is also attacking him online and saying that the Secretary of Defence is missing.
Pro Trump News refers to a Newsweek report which states that Joe Biden had people outside the White House chanting slogans. These people were chanting “Hands off Yemen”. The President had ordered strikes against militant targets. This was an attempt to stop the attacks on shipping vessels passing through the Red Sea. Joe Biden considered it as an “extensive diplomatic campaign”. The attacks were done in concert with the U.K., and with assistance from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands.
It turns out that the president has annoyed people. There were pro-Palestinian demonstrators at New York City’s Times Square on Thursday night. These people were chanting slogans supporting Yemen and were caught on video saying, “Yemen, you make us proud. We want justice, you say how. Stop bombing Yemen now.” The same people also chanted “Yemen will live forever. Say it loud, say it clear: liberation is near.”
The President needs to come to Congress before launching a strike against the Houthis in Yemen and involving us in another middle east conflict. That is Article I of the Constitution. I will stand up for that regardless of whether a Democrat or Republican is in the White House.

Trending Politics reported that Democrats are against this action from Joe Biden. U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) wrote a post on X stating, “The President needs to come to Congress before launching a strike against the Houthis in Yemen and involving us in another middle east conflict. That is Article I of the Constitution. I will stand up for that regardless of whether a Democrat or Republican is in the White House.” Ro Khanna got support from U.S. Rep. Val Hoyle (D-OR) who shared the same sentiment and added, “every president must first come to Congress and ask for military authorization, regardless of party.”
It didn’t stop there for Biden as the progressive wing of the Democrat Party was also not pleased with the action. U.S. Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) said, “The people do not want more of our taxpayer dollars going to endless war and the killing of civilians. Stop the bombing and do better by us.” The progressive wing has already shown its displeasure due to Biden’s policy on the war between Hamas and Israel in the Gaza Strip.
The voices against Biden gave Donald Trump an opportunity to get back at The President. The former president took to Truth Social and posted his thoughts. He shared, “So, let me get this straight. We’re dropping bombs all over the Middle East, AGAIN (where I defeated ISIS!), and our Secretary of Defence, who just went missing for five days, is running the war from his laptop in a hospital room. Remember, this is the same gang that “surrendered” in Afghanistan, where no one was held accountable or FIRED. It was the most embarrassing “moment” in the history of the United States. Now we have wars in Ukraine, Israel, and Yemen, but no “war” on our Southern Border. Oh, that makes a lot of sense. Crooked Joe Biden is the worst President in the history of the United States!”
It turns out that Biden is in the middle of a problem within his country, his party and most importantly Donald Trump. The President needs to figure out a way to get his message across to his people, and convince them that his actions are only for the right reasons. This may take time, but Biden will have to ensure that his people are understanding the point behind his actions. The situation needs to be controlled well before it blows out of proportion.
