Chaos ensued at the WrestleMania 40 kickoff press conference recently involving The Rock,Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns. Many fans were convinced Triple H might get back in the ring to settle matters. However, that won’t be happening.
During last night’s Friday Night SmackDown, Triple H confronted and addressed the chaos that took place during the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff on the February 9 episode of WWE SmackDown, emphasizing the authoritative stance on the situation.
Triple H delivered a great promo and blasted The Rock. He further clarified that he is not in favor of what The Rock and Roman Reigns demanded. Triple H announced that the main event of WrestleMania 40 would see Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Cody Rhodes. Regardless of any negative reaction, Triple H made it clear that the match is final.
Many fans were convinced Triple H was going to face The Rock. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer cleared the air that Triple H isn’t going to come out of retirement to face The Rock.
