At a committee hearing pertaining to the impeachment probe earlier this month, Representative Jared Moskowitz, a Florida Democrat sitting on the Oversight Committee, attempted to challenge the assertions of Representative James Comer and Representative Jim Jordan, both Republicans, by proposing to initiate impeachment proceedings against President Joe Biden.
“Let’s just do the impeachment,” Moskowitz asserted. “Why continue to waste millions of dollars of the taxpayers’ money if we’re going to impeach because you believe you’ve shown he’s committed a high crime or misdemeanor. What are you waiting on? By the way, we’ve got Chairman Jordan here also. Why aren’t you guys calling for the vote in your committee? When is it gonna happen?”
In response, Jordan stated, “We don’t do snap impeachments like you guys. We actually do the facts. We do oversight according to the Constitution.”
Despite Jordan’s response, Moskowitz proceeded with the motion and invited Jordan to second it, but was met with silence.
“They’re never gonna impeach Joe Biden,” Moskowitz declared while addressing the public. “It’s never gonna happen because they don’t have the evidence. This is a show. It’s all fake.”
