Cody Rhodes recently faced a sad accident but fortunately, he is fine.
‘The American Nightmare’ is gearing up for WrestleMania 40 but he managed to avoid a tragedy as he revealed that his tour bus caught fire.
On Night 1 of WrestleMania 40, Rhodes will team up with Seth Rollins to square off against The Rock and Roman Reigns. If Reigns and Rock win, the main event title match next night between Reigns and Rhodes would be Bloodline Rules
Ahead of the Show of Shows, The American Nightmare took to Twitter and let his fans know that his tour bus caught fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt and he managed to save his items.
”Before you hear it elsewhere – my tour bus caught fire last night Everybody is safe and okay The 2 items I grabbed before I got off will probably pop wrestling fans Again, thank you @PhillyFireDept”
While speaking on the Pat McAfee show, Cody Rhodes talked about the events leading to his bus catching fire. He then revealed he was able to take photos of his wife and daughter and his WrestleMania boots and thankfully recovered other things from the bus as well.
”Last night, 1 AM, laying in bed, all of a sudden, loud bang at the side of my bus. Thought it was a gunshot, climbed up, next thing I know my bus driver yells, ‘We gotta get off this bus it’s on fire.’ So my bus, it didn’t burn to a crisp, but it was up in a big fireball for a moment. I’m here this morning, non-flinching, I grabbed two things off my bus when I thought this is the end – I grab a photo of my daughter and wife and my WrestleMania boots. There ain’t nobody here who is more ready for WrestleMania than me. We got a lot of stuff out of there, thankful for that.”
