Former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has certainly cemented his place as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. However, the era of the ‘Tribal Chief’ ended at WrestleMania 40 PLE as Cody Rhodes dethroned him and captured the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Ever since that disastrous night, The Tribal Chief has not appeared on WWE live television. He also pulled himself out of the pool for the WWE Draft. Solo Sikoa, who was announced as ‘The Tribal Heir’, has been leading The Bloodline in Roman Reigns’ absence.
It has come to light that during his hiatus, Reigns was seen filming a movie called “Good Fortune” with a cast of Hollywood actors. The movie recently finished production. There have been many speculations about Roman Reigns’ return to WWE happening sooner than anticipated and him reclaiming his top position.
Interestingly, WWE is advertising him for SmackDown before SummerSlam this year. It seems that the fans shouldn’t expect to see Roman Reigns return to WWE anytime soon.
Ringside News reported that they reached out to a WWE writing team member regarding the rumors about Roman Reigns, who stated that people in WWE have not heard anything about the subject and doubted if those rumors were even true.
