According to the eyewitnesses, Mike Tyson had a medical issue during the flight, prompting the boarding of paramedics. The flight issued an announcement requesting a doctor’s assistance before the paramedics arrived. The eyewitness described Tyson’s attire as a matching short sleeve blue and white print cabana set while on American Airlines flight 1815.

The flight had initially been delayed for two hours due to excessive heat inside the plane caused by Miami’s temperatures. Mike Tyson, 57, was reportedly escorted to the gate at the original boarding time of 5:10 p.m. but was later escorted away when the delay occurred. He eventually boarded the plane at 6:30 p.m.

During the flight, passengers were notified via pre-recorded messages and on-screen prompts about the need for medical assistance for another passenger, later confirmed to be Tyson. The eyewitness mentioned that Tyson was seated in first class while they were in an exit row. The flight attendants informed passengers that Tyson was an important passenger and that medical personnel would be attending to him upon landing.

Upon landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the plane was delayed an additional 25 minutes as paramedics attended to Mike Tyson. Fortunately, Tyson’s representative later confirmed that he experienced nausea and dizziness due to an ulcer flare-up but was doing well after receiving medical assistance.

This incident occurred just months before Tyson’s highly anticipated fight against Jake Paul, scheduled for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Despite the age difference between Tyson and Paul, the latter has expressed his intent to approach the match with full intensity, acknowledging Tyson’s formidable reputation. Meanwhile, Tyson has shared his own apprehensions about the fight but has emphasized his commitment to confront challenges head-on.
