President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden was recently pictured leaving a famed Malibu restaurant minutes ahead of comedian Rosie O’Donnell, who is among the growing Dem backers urging the president to end his reelection bid via The Sun.
It has been noted that the embattled First Son and O’Donnell were photographed leaving the celebrity hotspot Nobu on Thursday afternoon only minutes before President Joe Biden was set to deliver critical remarks at a NATO summit.
Photographers captured Hunter departing a long lunch meeting in business casual while O’Donnell exited the eatery in cut-off jean shorts and an open-dress shirt. It is not clear if the two were together or spoke to each other while at the restaurant.
The pictures were snapped before Biden, 81, addressed foreign allies and reporters in Washington DC to prove he was still fit to run for a second term.
This marked President Biden’s first solo press conference this year, as he was forced to answer pressing questions from the media. Biden has been pushed to step aside since his disastrous presidential debate against rival and presumptive Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump.
Questions about Biden’s health and cognitive deficits were the central topic that arose from the debate, fracturing the support of Democrats on Capitol Hill, donors, and supporters. In the weeks since the debate, Biden has attempted to patch the leaking confidence of supporters and his reelection campaign.
However, a series of alarming gaffes from the president in public appearances and media interviews have failed to help the Biden administration’s efforts. O’Donnell is among an increasing number of Democratic supporters who have called on Biden to step aside.
The comedian posted the link to an opinion piece from The New York Times by Ezra Klein in February titled Democrats Have a Better Option Than Biden.
“I agree with this whole piece,” she wrote at the time on X, formerly Twitter.
