Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann has created controversy with his recent statements questioning the authenticity of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Olbermann has suggested there is no evidence that Trump was shot and even cast doubt on Dr. Ronny Jackson’s credentials, despite Jackson being a former White House physician.

Olbermann’s remarks have been met with disbelief and frustration, especially given his history of criticizing conspiracy theories. His skepticism mirrors similar unfounded claims made by MSNBC’s Joy Reid.

FOX News reports that Olbermann has criticized Jackson’s update on Trump’s condition, following the former president’s campaign rally attack last week. Jackson, who was Trump’s physician during his presidency, provided a detailed account of Trump’s injuries, describing a gunshot wound to the right ear from a high-powered rifle. According to Jackson, the wound was significant, causing initial heavy bleeding and swelling, though the swelling has since reduced, and the wound is healing.

Despite the detailed medical report and the widely broadcasted event, Olbermann has publicly questioned the validity of these claims, suggesting that the situation might be fabricated. His comments have been deemed as “insanity” by critics who argue that denying a widely witnessed event undermines the gravity of the situation and the professional integrity of those involved.
