After spending the weekend at Camp David with his son Hunter, President Joe Biden was seen leaving Joint Base Andrews on Monday afternoon, heading to Austin, Texas. Biden appeared to have difficulty navigating the tarmac and climbing the shorter staircase to Air Force One, with Secret Service agents closely following him.
During his trip, Biden is scheduled to deliver remarks and commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin. Additionally, he will visit Houston to pay respects to Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, who passed away last week from cancer.
Biden’s presidency is facing challenges, particularly after being pushed out of the 2024 race by Barack Obama. Kamala Harris has taken over much of Biden’s role, including receiving briefings on significant national security issues, such as the Hezbollah attack on a soccer field in Israel. This shift in responsibilities raises questions about the current state of Biden’s leadership and his role in managing critical affairs.
