Former First Lady Melania Trump recently dropped a text-based voiceover video to tease her upcoming memoir and spoke about her husband and former President Donald Trump. The memoir is about Melania herself but in the teaser video, she said the 2020 election changed “our lives” forever via TOI.
“It impacted our quality of life, cost of food, gasoline, safety and even the geopolitical landscape. America is more divided today than ever before. It has become increasingly apparent that there are significant challenges to free speech as demonstrated by the efforts to silence my husband,” Melania said in the video.
The video teaser was dropped just days ahead of the first face-off between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris on the ABC News — amid speculations over Melania’s long absence from Trump’s campaigning. Melania was at the Republican National Convention but did not speak there.
She issued a statement after Trump was shot. However, she has remained absent from the re-election scene. Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci claimed that Melania does not want Trump to win the election.
And then there were cases of sexual assault against Trump that he, however, denied. As per The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump by Washington Post journalist Mary Jordan, the former first lady used the fallout from infidelity and assault allegations against her husband to negotiate a more favorable prenuptial agreement, which she described as “taking care of Barron,” their now-18-year-old son.
The book that promises to take the readers to the personal life of the Slovenian-American model will be releasing on September 24.
