– The new referee who worked the Daniels vs. Matt Morgan and Kevin Nash vs. AJ Styles matches at last night’s pay-per-view was Jamie Tucker, who was hired to replace the recently released Rudy Charles. Tucker has worked for the original ECW and WCW in the past.
– This week’s edition of TNA iMPACT will kick off with Taz and Samoa Joe giving an interview. Kurt Angle and the rest of The Main Event Mafia will also appear to speak. TNA didn’t announce any matches specifically but promised a Legends Title defense by Kevin Nash, a Tag Team Title defense by Booker T & Scott Steiner as well as more on Bobby Lashley. While Don West mentioned that Lashley would be joining The Main Event Mafia, TNA’s website makes no mention of it.
– Speaking of Lashley, he was indeed backstage at last night’s Victory Road pay-per-view. Jeremy Borash wrote the following on his Twitter: Really enjoyed meeting Taz for the first time today. He’s gonna be a great addition to TNA. Bobby Lashley was backstage tonight.
