AEW hired former WWE Vice President of Communications Adam Hopkins today before Dynamite. He left WWE earlier this year, PWInsider.com reports.

The WWE has been a popular entertainment franchise for decades, drawing in countless fans across the world. However, the recent return of Vince McMahon, the CEO and former majority shareholder of WWE, has caused a stir among fans, leading to the trending hashtag #FireVince and other calls for WWE to do better. Despite the backlash, the parent company of the UFC, Endeavor, is continuing with its plans to merge with WWE.

Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel has acknowledged the controversy surrounding McMahon’s return but has stated that the deal is not yet complete and must pass regulatory approvals before it can be finalized. Once the merger is approved, the new company will be publicly traded under the name TKO. This news has not eased the frustration of many WWE fans who are upset about McMahon’s return and his impending status as the majority shareholder of WWE once again.

According to Ringside News, sources within WWE have also raised concerns about the situation, stating that even if they had witnessed something they didn’t like, they wouldn’t leak it out now. The controversy surrounding McMahon’s return and his past actions has left many fans questioning whether he is the right person to lead WWE in the future.

Despite the backlash, Endeavor is committed to the merger and has a significant amount of money invested in the deal. As a result, they may be hesitant to release negative press about McMahon and risk damaging the deal. This decision may give McMahon another “get out of controversy” card, allowing him to continue business as usual despite the concerns of many WWE fans.

While the situation remains contentious, it’s clear that Vince McMahon is back in control of WWE, and Endeavor is putting their trust in his decision-making process. However, as the controversy continues to unfold, it remains to be seen whether WWE will make changes to address the concerns of its fans or continue to operate in the same way under McMahon’s leadership.
