Alexa Bliss Goes After WWE Diva’s Husband

The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion took note of the promo cut by the SmackDown color commentator Pat McAfee on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Bliss is seemingly not a fan of RAW color commentator Corey Graves. She recently took quite a few shots at his commentary during her matches. She did so again following Pat McAfee’s show-opening promo on SmackDown.

Alexa Bliss slams Corey Graves

McAfee kicked off the show by cutting a promo for his upcoming match at SummerSlam against Happy Corbin. After Money in the Bank went off air, Corbin assaulted the WWE commentator, which resulted in the latter suffering a mild injury to neck. He had to wear a neck brace for a brief period. McAfee had missed out on last week’s edition of SmackDown due to the attack and he was replaced by Graves. The former NFL player apologized to the fans because they had to listen to Graves for two hours on SmackDown last week.

The WWE on FOX Twitter handle posted that portion of his promo, accepting his “apology.” Bliss got in on the act and commented on it, echoing Pat McAfee’s statement on Corey Graves. She quote-tweeted the clip with a short message that suggested the two may still have some heat:

“I’m just gonna leave this here,” she tweeted.

Last week, WWE announced that Pat McAfee had signed a multi-year contract with the company and noted the deal “will see McAfee entertaining the WWE Universe for years to come.” As per the reports, former NFL punter signed the extension several weeks ago, and it was positively received by people within the company. He joined the SmackDown commentary team last year and works alongside Michael Cole on Friday Nights.

McAfee is set to face Happy Corbin in a match at SummerSlam on Saturday, July 30 at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
