Barron Trump Is Worried About Violence At…

Donald Trump said about his son Barron on Fox News, “He’s amazing, tall, good looking. He’s a very good student, he applies to colleges and gets in everywhere he goes.”

“He’s pretty cool.”

He said he and Barron are worried about him going to certain colleges, “All of these colleges are rioting.”

Democratic ex-New York Governor David Paterson expressed that if President Biden had the authority, he would have wanted him to consider pardoning Donald Trump in his hush-money conviction.

Paterson, speaking on 77 WABC radio’s “The Cats Roundtable,” echoed Trump’s claims that the case was “rigged.”

“There are a lot … of erroneous qualities to that trial,” Paterson remarked. “Some of the people who are involved: A person who worked at the White House somehow wound up in the Manhattan DA’s Office. All of it, when it adds up, really looks very much like what the former president describes it as.”

Paterson acknowledged that a US president cannot pardon someone of state crimes like the felony charges Trump faced in Manhattan court last week. However, he suggested that if the president had such authority, it should have been considered in this case.

“Sometimes when you’re a leader and you’re willing to put yourself at the center of acrimony and controversy, both sides may come down on you,” Paterson observed, citing former President Gerald Ford’s pardon of ex-President Richard Nixon over the “Watergate” scandal in 1974.

“But years later, upon reflection, I’m sure they’ll respect you,” Paterson added.

Trump is also confronting federal charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot and allegedly moving national security documents to Mar-a-Lago — both offenses that could be pardonable if he is convicted.

Paterson cautioned Biden to be “real careful” about gloating, particularly with his son, Hunter Biden, now facing trial.
