TMZ has learned that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are quietly attempting to sell the home they purchased after their marriage, signaling a potential path towards divorce.
Sources familiar with the matter have revealed to TMZ that J Lo and Ben have enlisted realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency to handle the sale of their Beverly Hills mansion, which they acquired just over a year ago. The couple reportedly bought the enormous property for a little over $60 million.
Their decision to sell comes amid reports of significant marital issues, with Ben having already moved out of the house and into a rental property in Brentwood.
According to sources, J Lo is actively searching for a new residence, indicating a further shift away from their shared living arrangement.
Realtor Santiago Arana has been showcasing the property for approximately two weeks, coinciding with the escalating signs of discord between Ben and Jen. However, as of now, there have been no takers for the house.
The couple is said to be seeking “around $65 million” for the property. Factoring in broker commissions, new property taxes on high-value estates, and substantial investments made in home improvements, selling at this price point would result in a substantial financial loss.
