Biden Firing Jack Smith For Donald Trump?

Donald Trump told the New York Post that President Biden called him after the shooting, calling it “fine” and said Biden was “very nice.”

He suggested, without offering specifics, that the campaign between them could be more civil from now on.

He also said that “we hear” that Biden will order the Department of Justice and Jack Smith to drop its two prosecutions of Trump. So far, there’s no public sign of that.

Jack Smith, a seasoned prosecutor and the Special Counsel appointed by the U.S. Department of Justice, has been spearheading a series of high-profile investigations into former President Donald Trump. These investigations, which have garnered significant media attention and public interest, focus on allegations of misconduct during and after Trump’s presidency.

One of the primary areas of scrutiny is Trump’s handling of classified documents. The investigation aims to determine whether Trump mishandled sensitive information during his tenure, potentially compromising national security. This aspect of the probe has led to multiple subpoenas and the collection of extensive documentation from various sources.

Additionally, Smith’s team is examining Trump’s involvement in the events leading up to the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot. This investigation seeks to uncover whether Trump and his associates played a direct role in inciting the violence that ensued, as well as their potential attempts to overturn the 2020 election results. Key witnesses, including former White House officials and Trump campaign staff, have been called to testify.

The investigations have faced numerous legal challenges and political pushback, highlighting the deeply polarized nature of the current American political landscape. As Smith’s investigations progress, they continue to be a focal point of national discourse, with potential implications for Trump’s political future and the broader accountability of public officials.
