Last night’s edition of Raw emanated from Calgary, Alberta, Canada featured the return of WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart, that delighted the fans and he also met Triple H backstage.
‘The Hitman’ making an appearance was a highlight of the night as he received a massive ovation. When Hart made his way to the ring, he was met with loud chants and cheers from the passionate Calgary audience.
Hart expressed his pride in being a champion, especially a Canadian champion, and talked about the toughness of Canadian wrestlers. However, he was disrespectfully interrupted by the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. ‘The Ring General’ took shots at Hart and even said that his favorite Canadian wrestler was Goldberg. However, Sami Zayn made his way to the ring to the aid of Hart. He challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. However, he was turned down and the segment ended with Zayn and Gunther brawling.
Following the segment, in a video shared on his X, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque can be seen meeting The Hitman backstage, sharing a moment and thanking him for stopping by on Raw in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Bret Hart’s appearance certainly scripted a special moment ahead of WWE’s return to Canada for WWE Survivor Series PLE in November.
