Contrary to initial claims suggesting that Brock Lesnar was re-added to the WWE roster page, recent insights indicate that he may have never been removed from the page in the first place. Bryan Alvarez, speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, shed light on the situation, revealing ongoing efforts to bring Lesnar back to WWE.
Alvarez clarified that while there have been recent movements regarding Lesnar, the accuracy of reports regarding his presence on the roster page remains uncertain. However, he confirmed that there are indeed efforts underway to facilitate Lesnar’s return to WWE.
Acknowledging these developments, Alvarez emphasized the uncertainty surrounding Lesnar’s potential return. He expressed reservations about the decision, indicating that while inquiries have been made, the outcome remains unclear.
Regarding Lesnar’s anticipated return at the Royal Rumble, Alvarez mentioned that it was thwarted due to his association with the Vince McMahon sex trafficking scandal, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. Subsequent plans involving his participation at Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania were reportedly scrapped. Additionally, Lesnar’s removal from WWE show intros and segments of the 2K video game hinted at a potential change in his standing within the company.
In the last few days, there have been moves regarding Brock Lesnar. If you listen to the show last night with Dave [Meltzer], everything we talked about is accurate other than the roster page. There are movements to bring him back.
I should add regarding Brock. I’m not saying he’s going to be back. I have no idea if he’s going to be back. I wouldn’t bring him back but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made and what that means, we will wait and see.
