Chris Jericho is a veteran in the business and isn’t afraid to say what’s on his mind and fight for what he wants. He recently pulled out of Starrcast after not receiving any thanks for his contributions to AEW and now it seems he will not be appearing for Fyter Fest.
He isn’t pulling out of the event due to lack of gratitude. Rather, he is doing so because the event will be free.
Jericho made it clear he had no intention of being thanked for Fyter Fest being a free event and if it was up to him, he’d have charged the fans double. He was certainly displeased at the event and now he has pulled out completely.
In protest of @KennyOmegamanX, @CodyRhodes, @NickJacksonYB & @MattJackson13’s foolish decision to give the #FyterFest live stream away to @AEWrestling fans for free, I am pulling out of the event. I refuse to be associated w such shameless pandering.
If he really doesn’t appear for Fyter Fest, the next time Jericho will wrestle will be at All Out on August 31st, where he will be facing off against Adam “Hangman” Page for the new All Elite World Title.
