Cody was one of the highlights of AEW television as he immediately made an impact in the company. He even competed in the first-ever match on AEW Dynamite against Sammy Guevara, which he won. It was announced that Cody and his wife Brandi Rhodes had parted with the company after working there for over three years. This was seen as a shocking move as their departures came out of the left field and many fans expected to see them involved in more storylines as well.
A fan took to Twitter and gave a gist about Cody Rhodes’ latest appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. This included what he thought about Shane McMahon and his whereabouts after Rhodes’ WWE return.
Listened to Cody on impaulsive and some of the funny takeaways from it. First, someone off camera asking what Shane McMahon’s doing after Cody brings him up and Cody saying he hadn’t seen him since he got back. Which yeah, that shit storm happened right before he got there.Cody saying he would play Shane McMahon’s theme every time he got on an elevator at NJPW when they knew AEW was starting is either a top tier Cody lie or a top tier Cody bit.
During the interview, Mike Maljak (one of the co-hosts) brought up The American Nightmare’s wrestling family. However, Mike botched the question big time by saying that Cody Rhodes and former adult film star Lana Rhoades were siblings. Check out Cody’s response below.
